Welcome to Booklee. These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Booklee’s website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • “Booklee”, “we”, “us”, “our”:The platform and the operator of the Service.
  • “User”, “you”, “your”: Anyone who accesses or uses the Service, including Customers and Providers.
  • “Customer”: A user who browses, schedules, or purchases services via Booklee.
  • “Provider”: A salon, professional, or business that lists and fulfills services via Booklee.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it updated.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Bookings

  • Booklee enables Customers to discover and schedule services offered by Providers. Unless stated otherwise, Booklee is not the provider of those services.
  • Booking details (time, price, services, location) are set by the Provider. Please review Provider policies before booking.
  • A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation through the Service or by email.

5. Payments

  • If payments are processed through Booklee or a third-party payment processor, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method for the amounts shown at checkout (plus any applicable taxes or fees).
  • You agree to comply with any additional terms from payment processors. Booklee does not control and is not responsible for third-party processor performance or security.
  • Prices are determined by Providers and may change at their discretion. Any promotional offers may be subject to additional terms.

6. Cancellations & No‑Shows

  • Cancellation and no‑show policies are set by each Provider. Please review the Provider’s policy when booking.
  • Fees or charges for late cancellations or no‑shows may apply per the Provider’s policy.

7. User Content & Reviews

  • You may submit content (e.g., reviews). You represent that you own or have the rights to submit such content and that it is accurate and lawful.
  • You grant Booklee a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such content in connection with the Service.
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law, or is harmful, deceptive, or infringing.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.
  • Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, or infringing.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service except as permitted by law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Booklee and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use Booklee trademarks without our prior written permission.

10. Third‑Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third‑party services. Booklee is not responsible for third‑party websites, products, or services, or their terms and privacy practices.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Booklee disclaims all warranties related to the Service and the services provided by Providers.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Booklee and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service. In no event will our total liability exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you paid to Booklee (if any) in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred (100) USD.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Booklee and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way related to your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the location where Booklee operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of that location will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
